Denial of God by Man to find Something New (Ecc 7: 27-29)

DENIAL OF GOD BY MAN TO FIND SOMETHING NEW (Ecc 7: 27-29):

The author built upon many things in his writings, as a process of his reflection. He thought through all the happenings, things, and people under the sun, by adding one thing to the other in the process of his thinking. And he makes a definite statement that he had already known but found while adding one thing to another, to explain the scheme of things which every soul seek repeatedly but not have found by the own strength. The author got displeased with something in his wisdom though he acknowledges that wisdom is incomprehensible. The author was genuine to express things much openly without ceasing but the problem is that he would have been seeking in the wrong place with the wrong person and hence the author says that he has not found it.
The author finds at least one man among thousand who was worth in his sight, and who is upright in all his thoughts, feelings, and actions. And the author says that he has not found at least a woman among all. The author’s experience need not be applicable to all women but most of the women are always confusing, with instability, as they think over different things, succumbed by their situations, and because of that their ability to be upright is strongly affected.
The author makes another decisive statement that he has found that God had made man upright but they have sought out many schemes. In the beginning of the whole earth and the universe, God created everyone and everything, and after creating everyone God saw that everything was good. God made the humans in His likeness and made everything and kept the humans as ambassadors. But human beings wanted to live their life as they wish and they didn’t realize the purpose and direction for which God had created certain things, losing the original essence of God’s creation, by seeking out many things themselves. No human being could gratify themselves in anything without acknowledging God’s purpose and direction in something.

Stimulations for Self-Reflection:
1.    How does the author find something?
2.    What the author find? How?
3.    What the author doesn’t find? How?
4.    What is the importance of seeking and how we can enhance it?
5.    Are men better than Women according to the author? Justify?
6.    Why does the author say that God made man upright?  How?
7.    What is the problem of many of them in their seeking?
8.    How can we be upright?
